Community and Content Manager - Business social media platform
Our client is an innovative digital start up for procurement professionals globally and are the first movers in this niche space so a golden opportunity to grow with the company and influence the direction and the nature of the content and the community. They have 5000 users ready to invite when they officially launch in May and then it's game on!
They have a need for a bright and passionate community manager whose responsibility will be to grow the user base via the use of quality content marketing and maintain a professional community network using a combination of leveraging effective content assets, including website pages, blogs, social media discussions, eNewsletters, articles, case studies, white papers, infographics, PowerPoint and Prezi presentations and email campaigns.
When appropriate you will also have the opportunity to write relevant original content so your copywriting skills should be razor sharp and engaging and your English must be perfect with English as your first language.
You will already have 2 years commercial work experience and whilst they are open minded as to which sector you come from as your attitude and approach will count for a lot in this role.
You should however be a fluid digital native and already using social media extensively at work for the benefit of your employer and user acquisition. You will understand the various benefits and drawbacks of Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and the other platforms and how they tie in with user engagement.
You should also be able to analyse results using Google Analytics and any other analysis skills will be looked upon favourably.
Personality wise the office is small but full of big characters and you will need to be open, honest, a superb communicator, a team player, able to work autonomously with little direction, not afraid to try things that don't work and move on quickly to things that do.
